Scope of Work
The contract involves the Renovations to the City Hall Customer Service Centre in the City of Kawartha Lakes. The awarded work consists of the following key tasks:
Renovation and Expansion Work
- Demolition and Removal
- Removal of existing walls, flooring, ceilings, and cabinetry in the designated renovation area.
- Proper disposal of all demolished materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- New Construction and Installation
- Installation of new partition walls to create an expanded Service Centre space.
- Upgrading ceiling tiles, flooring materials, and cabinetry to match modern standards.
- Integration of accessibility features, including an updated front counter for improved service delivery.
- Mechanical and Electrical System Modifications
- Adjustments and upgrades to HVAC systems for improved ventilation and energy efficiency.
- Electrical system enhancements, including updated lighting and power distribution to support new workstations.
- IT and Security System Enhancements
- Installation of structured cabling to support IT and telecommunications requirements.
- Integration of security upgrades, including access control systems and surveillance cameras.
- Final Finishing and Site Cleanup
- Painting, millwork, and finishing touches to align with City Hall aesthetics.
- Site cleanup and disposal of construction debris to ensure a fully operational Service Centre upon completion.
